We are seeking Board members who will serve as passionate ambassadors for our mission to end hunger in southwestern Wisconsin and help guide our work toward achieving nutrition security and food equity for all in the communities we support. We value diverse identities, lived and professional experiences, and perspectives, and we believe they strengthen the conversations and decisions that shape our vision of a community where everyone has enough nutritious food to thrive.
Various skills and experiences contribute to a dynamic and effective board. While not required, our current priorities for new members include one or more of the following:
- Lived experience with nutrition or food insecurity
- Lived or professional experience with basic needs service providers
- Expertise in healthcare systems or public health, food systems or the food industry, banking, or commercial construction
